Ross Joyce and Cody Davis first founded The Games Place on Proboards on June 30, 2007. After being down for quite some time, they decided to move to MyFreeForum on May 22, 2009. The Games Place then died again after a few months. Ross no longer wanted to run The Games Place, but Cody still wanted to. Ross and Cody decided that Cody could run The Games Place and it reopened again on April 8, 2010 with thegamesplace.net domain name, and hosted with Pluto Hosting.
Mega Victory was founded July 25, 2010 by Cody Davis
On October 6, 2010 Mega Victory merged with The Games Place and The Games Place became as we know today as the Mega Victory Forums
